What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanics- Construction Equipment position at Coreslab Structures Omaha Inc?
PAY STARTS AT $27 - $36.05 hr based on experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, machines and tools
- inspect drives, motors, belts, etc.; check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions
- clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work
- dismantle devices to gain access to and remove and repair/replace defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools
- perform manual labor
- maintains proper inventory of required parts
- maintain order and housekeeping; maintains grounds as assigned
- perform all occupational safety and hazard procedures in conjunction with all essential duties
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:
- equipment, machines and tools
- occupational hazards and proper safety precautions
Skills in:
- performing routine maintenance on equipment
- repairing equipment, machines or systems using the required tools
Ability to:
- establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employee
- communicate effectively and at an appropriate level for this classification
