QC Inspector
Coreslab Structures (L.A.) Inc.
Description of responsibilities - essential candidate qualities, preferences and skills:
- Pre-pour and post-pour examination of precast concrete to assure product conforms to specifications.
- Observe and record stressing operations.
- Testing of concrete to assure concrete meets project specifications.
- Detailed record keeping of all testing operations.
- Confirm product is finished and ready for delivery to site.
- Perform cylinder strength testing at various stages.
- Comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Sive Analysis Certification.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to read and understand production drawings.
- ACI Field Grade I Certification.
- PCI Level I and Level II Certification.
- Shift work is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be total mobile in and around the Plant.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Experience:
- ACI Strength Certification.
- ACI Lab Certification.
- ACI Aggregate Certification.
- ACI SCC Certification.
- Experience with SCC testing.
- Prior experience in quality control.
· Experience working in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment.
· Bilingual
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be very active and constantly requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
