Duties
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Support cooking staff by performing basic cooking tasks as needed.
- Bus tables and assist with serving during busy meal periods or special events.
- Help with catering setups for banquets and events, ensuring all food items are presented attractively.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality settings is preferred, including restaurant or hotel environments.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform various kitchen tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and bussing effectively.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus.
