The Personnel Assistant performs varied clerical functions and related general office duties in the area of human resources and payroll administration. Verify and ensure accurate payroll records and reporting.
- Review and enter payroll information, including but not limited to, leave authorization forms, missed time punches, special hours, and historical corrections, within established payroll deadlines.
- File and maintain supporting payroll documentation in accordance with payroll procedures.
- Provide employment information to applicants or employees relative to job openings and application process to follow.
- Process new employee paperwork and prints badges.
- Maintain employee flow logs and reports in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Creates and maintains personnel, medical, and general files in an organized manner, to include sorting, labeling, filing and retrieving, in accordance with company and facility file retention and storage procedures; maintain confidentiality and security of records.
