The Jobs Coordinator is responsible for all inmate/resident job tracking functions. Screen inmate/resident applicants for eligibility and suitability for placement on a job register, selects, and appoints inmates/residents to jobs.
The Jobs Coordinator is responsible for all inmate/resident job tracking functions. Screen inmate/resident applicants for eligibility and suitability for placement on a job register, selects, and appoints inmates/residents to jobs.
- Maintain and update job registers with eligibility information forwarded by the case management team using the company's TRUST software, where applicable.
- Audit monthly service credit evaluations and inmate/resident job attendance records received from the supervisor for accuracy.
- Assure inmates/residents comply with the law, policy, and court recommendations when eligible for work programs or other placement programs assigned.
- Maintain and update job files and electronic records to track inmate/resident assignments, attendance, evaluations, and pay records for all inmates/residents at assigned at the institution.
- Review and investigate all requests for disciplinary and non-disciplinary dismissals, and makes recommendations for appropriate approval in accordance with policy.
- High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
- One year of related experience is required, preferably in correctional counseling. Additional related education may be substituted for work experience on a year-for-year basis.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
