CORE is seeking Regional Controller for its Florida division. The position would reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position adds value by guiding leadership to make sound and timely business decisions that will maximize the long-term profitability of the company. The position is also ultimately responsible for all accounting and financial control functions of the Region. The position report directly to the Director of Accounting with dotted lines to the Regional President and Regional Director of Operations.

The Position Responsibilities May Also Include
- Producing internal and external financial statements and projections
- Leading and mentoring accounting support staff including AR/AP
- Developing and maintaining internal financial controls
- Participate in setting and meeting the region’s gross profit, overhead, and profit goals
- Supporting strategic planning with financial forecasting models
- Maintaining accurate understanding of cash position at all times
- Willing to do whatever it takes to make the company better
Candidate Qualifications
- Must possess the highest level of integrity
- Must work well in a team environment and be committed to serving others
- Must possess an extremely high level of discretion
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Occasional travel may be required to Orlando, Tampa area and our HQ in Frisco, TX
- This is an in-person position at our office in Fort Lauderdale (NOT remote nor hybrid)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
- Advanced user of MS Office products, especially Excel.
- Ability to assemble financial statements –I/S, B/S, Cash Flow Statement
- Construction WIP accounting preferred
- Viewpoint Experience preferred
- Ability to simplify and graphically illustrate financial scenarios for decision makers
- Advanced Data base experience
- Financial Analysis Skills – IRR and NPV
