Job Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT / RVT / CVT)
Company: Core Vet Animal Hospital
Location: Stamford, CT (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $32–$44/hour | $75,000–$100,000 annually
About Core Vet Animal Hospital
Core Vet is not your typical veterinary hospital. We are a modern, doctor-led, concierge-style practice built around exceptional medicine, an elevated client experience, and a team culture that actually prioritizes the people doing the work. Our hospital is brand new, beautifully designed, and intentionally built — from the ground up — to be a place where skilled clinicians can thrive.
We opened in Stamford, CT and we are growing quickly. We are doing it the right way.
The Role
This is a true LVT-forward position. You will use your full skillset — not just restrain patients and refill prescriptions. You will be trusted, respected, and clinically engaged from day one. If you are tired of being overworked, underpaid, and underutilized, this role was built with you in mind.
What You Will Do
- Perform and monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures
- Place IV catheters, collect samples, and run in-house diagnostics
- Assist in and manage patient care pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Communicate with clients at a high level — updates, discharge instructions, education
- Collaborate with the medical team to maintain efficient, precise workflows
- Contribute to a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We Offer
- $32–$42/hour base (commensurate with experience)
- Performance-based bonuses — real, attainable, and meaningful
- Annual compensation potential: $75,000–$100,000
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off paid holidays
- Continuing education allowance paid CE days
- Uniform allowance
- Employee pet care discounts
- Clear career growth pathways — lead technician, training, and operations roles
What We Are Looking For
- Active LVT, RVT, or CVT licensure (CT license required or eligibility to obtain)
- Confident in anesthesia, patient care, and client communication
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality medicine
- A team player who values professionalism and accountability
- Someone who wants to be part of building something exceptional — not just filling a shift
Why This Role Exists
We are growing — and we are doing it intentionally. We are not looking to fill a spot. We are looking for a technician who wants to raise the standard of what veterinary medicine can feel like: for patients, for clients, and for the team providing the care.
If you are even considering a change, we would love to talk. The right environment changes everything.
