Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Professional with a CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification and OSHA 500 Trainer certification to lead our construction site safety initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant construction workplace safety regulations and standards.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs aligned with OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA standards, and NEC codes to ensure construction site compliance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk management evaluations to identify potential safety issues proactively.
- Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to develop safe work practices, enforce compliance management protocols, and promote occupational health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training logs, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation using construction management software.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for OSHA inspections and ensure all regulatory requirements are met or exceeded on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience working in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations.
- Certified as a CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) with OSHA 500 Trainer certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles, occupational health practices, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Familiarity with ANSI standards, NFPA standards, NEC codes, and OSHA regulations related to electrical safety procedures.
- Experience conducting safety training implementation across diverse teams within fast-paced construction environments.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and construction management software for documentation and compliance tracking.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams positively while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
