Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Counselor in a Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) setting located in Manitowoc, WI. The Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, conducting assessments and developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and supporting clients in their recovery journey. The Counselor will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
- Human Services and Case Management skills
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of Psychology and Mental Health principles
- Experience in Substance Use Disorder treatment and recovery support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred, but not required
- State licensure or certification as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor
