Core Tile & Stone is a Phoenix-based custom tile and stone contractor specializing in high-end residential projects throughout Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and the surrounding Valley.

We work with builders, designers, and homeowners to create custom homes where quality, precision, and craftsmanship matter.

We are looking for an experienced Stone Fabricator who takes pride in their work, knows their craft, and wants to be part of a professional, hardworking team.

What You'll Do

As a Stone Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished stone pieces for luxury residential projects.

• Fabricate and finish granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and other natural and engineered stone
• Perform precise sink cutouts and openings
• Fabricate and finish mitered edges, beveled edges, profiles, laminated edges, and other custom details
• Polish, hone, leather, and finish stone to the required specifications
• Work with 2cm, 3cm, and custom-thickness materials
• Read and interpret shop drawings, dimensions, and templates
• Accurately measure, cut, fabricate, and finish pieces according to project requirements
• Operate fabrication equipment, including bridge saws, polishers, routers, hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other shop equipment
• Inspect your work for accuracy, quality, and proper finish before pieces leave the shop
• Communicate with the shop lead, installers, project managers, and fellow fabricators regarding project requirements
• Work collaboratively with the shop lead and fabrication team
• Problem-solve unique fabrication challenges and find practical solutions
• Communicate potential issues before they become problems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication environment
• Load and properly secure finished pieces for transportation
• Drive a company truck and large trailer to job sites when needed and transport finished pieces safely
• Handle stone carefully and responsibly, understanding the value of the materials you are working with

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a skilled, dependable, trustworthy, and experienced fabricator who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship and understands the importance of accountability.

Required:

• Professional stone fabrication experience
• Fluent in both Spanish and English — required
• Valid driver's license — required
• Strong understanding of stone fabrication and finishing
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and power tools
• Ability to read measurements, shop drawings, and templates
• Ability to safely lift and handle 80 lbs
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while also working effectively with the shop lead and fabrication team
• Ability to take direction and communicate openly
• Willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed
• Willingness to take ownership of your work and correct issues when necessary
• Willingness to learn, improve, and grow with the company

Experience Level

5 years of stone fabrication experience is strongly preferred.

We are looking for someone who can step into the shop, understand the work, and contribute without needing constant supervision.

What We OfferCompetitive Pay

$20.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability.

Highly skilled fabricators with advanced capabilities may qualify for compensation above the standard range.
