What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at Core Therapy Partners--Home Health contract therapists?
OT needed for Abilene and the surrounding areas including: Anson, Clyde/Baird, Merkel, Tuscola, Stamford, Haskell. Full time/Part time/PRN options available depending on your travel radius. We are looking for an OT to eval and treat home health patients with excellent patient driven sessions and concise, timely documentation required. If you live or already travel to any of the listed areas we want to visit with YOU!
Home Health care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Communicate effectively with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services in a timely manner
Skills
- Proven work experience as an occupational therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid licence to practice occupational therapy in the state of Texas
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
