What are the responsibilities and job description for the IS Security Analyst position at Core Technology Solutions?

Position Details:
- This position will be joining a small team that supports I/S in understanding what and how I/S processes need to flow to achieve compliance.
- This team participates in projects to support remediations of audit gaps, introduction of new tools that have compliancy requirements, and serving as a knowledge expert on compliance requirements.
- Serve as a backup in leading audits within the I/S organization. As an audit advisor, this role will work directly with external auditors, facilitate all auditor meetings and interviews for I/S, and support I/S team members by advising them on how to speak to an auditor and provide guidance on audit evidence due to auditor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree or additional years of job-related work experience
- 4 years of Job-related technical experience.
- 6 years of Audit and Compliance – does not have to have been in an auditor role – ideally, this person would have worked in IT organizations where they were facilitating audits with auditors and supporting the IT organizations through the process.
- 2 years for root cause analysis within IT organizations when IT receives an audit gap
PREFERRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- CISA, NSA, CISM, CISSP
PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in network security (Cisco ASA, IPS, VPN, RSA SecurID, PKI, cryptography), security controls for LAN/WANs, client-server, web-based systems, and databases. Experience with configuration of security devices such as firewalls, intrusion prevention, patch deployment, and risk assessment/ vulnerability scanners.
