Core Tech Industrial Corp is looking for a Product Manager to lead technical proposals and development projects focused on large packaged electrical systems serving the Energy sector. The qualified candidate must be detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate across departments effectively. This individual will own the technical definition, project budgets and lifecycle of the product to enhance profitability and competitiveness in the marketplace. This role blends traditional product management responsibilities with deep technical knowledge of electrical and structural engineering principles adhering to industry standards.
Duties:
The Product Manager reports directly to the Product Line Department Leader and is responsible for:
· Standardization of product offerings and options, providing proposal support to the Commercial team, managing product cost, and managing product line gross margin.
· Leveraging systems (both internal and external), standard work processes, and industry standards to identify product requirements, develop product conceptual designs with costing estimates, and provide support for commercial quoting and deal closure.
· Review of Customer Specifications to ensure customer requirements are addressed in the design, Bill of Materials, cost estimates and Proposal documents.
· After receipt of order, this position supports the Account Manager in the turnover of technical requirements to Operations for execution.
· Working within the commercial department and directly with customers, manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and quality to facilitate product line forecasting, quoting, and delivery.
· Working with Business Development and NPI Engineering to translate new product requirements into designs with cost estimates suitable for commercial quoting.
Minimum Required Competencies:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
· 3 – 10 years of experience as an engineer designing products
· Interest in the Energy, Infrastructure and Power Generation markets
· problem solving and communication skills
· advanced product knowledge and the ability to speak on such products
· or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
