Core Supply in Fort Worth, TX is looking for an OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR to join our team.
The OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR at Core Supply is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the lumberyard, ensuring that customer orders are processed in a safe and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise yard employees and rebar fabricators, promoting safety and accountability
• Monitor and facilitate processing of customer orders
• Serve as backup to Branch Manager
• Monitor the safe loading and unloading of materials
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers
• Monitor and maintain product inventory
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and practices
• Ensure paperwork is completed and maintained for all business transactions
• Train employees
• Monitor and maintain Company equipment in working order
• Monitor and maintain safety at facility
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in clean orderly condition
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and related software

• Trustworthy to responsibly manage credit card and cash transactions
Preferred Experience
• One year of leadership or supervisor experience preferred
• Building materials industry experience preferred
• Experience managing shipping/ receiving a plus
• Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred
