Summary Of Position

The Regional Manager Director, Regional Architecture, as part of our Design Studio is responsible for leading and growing the architectural practice within a designated region, ensuring the successful execution of projects, driving business development, and fostering a high-performing team. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with deep expertise in architecture, ability to create and grow strong client relationships, and the skill to oversee operations, financial performance, and team development.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

• Support execution of a strategic plan to expand the architecture practice within the designated region, aligned with company goals.
• Drive business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and cultivate strong client relationships to grow revenue.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand recognition.
  
  

Project & Operations Management

• Oversee the execution of architectural projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Implement best practices and processes to improve efficiency and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and interior design to deliver integrated design solutions.
  
  

Financial & Performance Management

• Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring profitability and financial health of the architectural practice.
• Monitor project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support contract negotiations and risk management efforts.
  
  

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of architects and designers.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Ensure resource allocation aligns with project and business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect required.
• Minimum of twelve or more years of professional experience.
• Five or more years of management experience.
• Proficient project management skills with the ability to track multiple projects.
• Deep knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, and industry trends.
• Working knowledge of Architectural computer-based programs and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Working knowledge of staff utilization and work-planning programs.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
  
  

Team

You will work with a team of Architectural professionals and report to the Vice President of our Design Studio.

Work Location:

This is a hybrid role that can sit out of either of our; Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia or West Chester, PA offices.
