Our client, a large ecommerce firm, is seeking a Product Marketing Contractor to join their Seller Product Marketing team. This role is a 6-month contract and will sit in their Brooklyn office on a hybrid basis.
To be successful in this role, the Product Marketing Contractor will be a key partner in helping the product team articulate customer value and plan effective product delivery and launches while also advocating on behalf of marketing to ensure that product roadmaps support marketing strategies. You’ll operate in a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, Design, Brand, Content, Analytics, Research, and Marketing to improve the seller experience through holistic and targeted marketing design to drive seller adoption, compliance, and retention.
As the Customer Ops PMM, you'll:
- Own the product marketing strategy for the Support and Trust & Safety experiences.
- Narrating the seller journey, uncovering seller insights, and identifying key seller needs to focus product roadmaps on the largest business opportunities.
- Leading competitive analysis on seller product experiences to inform go-to-market plans
- Partnering with product, marketing and brand teams to determine what, where, how, and to whom we market key features and product launches, taking into account seller needs and business objectives across the core global markets.
- Serving as a key collaborator between the Product and Marketing organizations.
- Developing and aligning on-site and off-site marketing plans in collaboration with channel owners and the broader marketing team.
- Setting clear, measurable product marketing goals and track progress against them, making continuous recommendations for how we can improve impact.

Requirements:
- 4 years of product marketing experience, and/or marketing consulting experience.
- Ability to use quantitative reasoning skills to inform strategies and tell a strong narrative.
- Strong command of quantitative and qualitative user research methods and applications, fluent in using data to make decisions, experience with growth marketing tactics, and deep experience partnering with product teams
- Experience simplifying complex concepts into impactful marketing.
- Track record of driving strong growth and results through product marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams while maintaining great relationships.
