The Area Leasing Manager oversees leasing and marketing operations for multiple assigned sites, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with company standards. This on-site leadership role includes lease administration, creating and implementing marketing strategies, supporting site teams, and driving leasing success across the portfolio.

The Area Leasing Manager oversees leasing and marketing operations for multiple assigned sites, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with company standards. This on-site leadership role includes lease administration, creating and implementing marketing strategies, supporting site teams, and driving leasing success across the portfolio.
What You Will Do
Leadership and Team Development
- Supervise and provide guidance to leasing teams across multiple properties, fostering performance and professional growth.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate leasing staff to ensure consistent adherence to company goals and standards.
- Partner with Property Managers to align leasing strategies with operational objectives.
- Develop and execute innovative marketing plans tailored to each property’s unique needs.
- Organize in-house events and oversee external marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and drive traffic.
- Leverage social media platforms and design tools to create engaging content and promotional materials.
- Monitor leasing progress and ensure timely completion of all leasing and marketing reports.
- Analyze leasing data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and achieve occupancy targets.
- Work with leasing team to help close open traffic.
- Coordinate and oversee the turn/move-in process to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
- Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive turn schedule for each property.
- Work closely with site teams to ensure all units meet company standards before move-in dates.
- Provide support during peak move-in periods, ensuring positive resident experiences.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements across all properties.
- Maintain brand standards, ensuring properties are consistently presented at the highest level.
- Collaborate with Property Managers and Regional Managers on special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Complete all assigned HR and operational tasks, including onboarding and staff performance reviews.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
- High school diploma; college degree preferred but not required.
- 3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or related fields, with multi-site experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and Apple operating systems.
- A proven track record in leasing within the student housing industry.
- Strong experience managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and driving digital campaigns. Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools is highly desirable.
- Experience with Entrata or similar software for leasing and reporting functions.
