Your Role as a Designer at COREoi  

At CORE Office Interiors, our designers play a key role in shaping client workspaces. As part of our collaborative team, you will work closely with Strategic Account Managers, Project Managers, and industry specialists to bring workplace solutions to life. Your focus will be on designing functional, efficient, and aesthetically aligned environments that meet client needs and reflect our commitment to excellence.  


What You’ll Do  

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, branding, and workplace culture.  
  • Develop detailed space plans and design solutions that support functionality and aesthetics.  
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate specifications, seamless project execution, and client satisfaction.  
  • Attend client and construction meetings, providing insight and expertise to align all aspects of the design with project goals.  
  • Maintain precision and accuracy in space planning, finish selections, and product specifications.  
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our design approach.  

 

What You Bring to the Team  

  • Strong collaboration skills—you work well within a team and value input from others.  
  • Detail-oriented mindset—you take pride in accuracy and thoroughness.  
  • Creative problem-solving abilities—you can balance design aesthetics with real-world functionality.  
  • Technical expertise—experience with 2D/3D planning tools, CET, Project Workspace, and Project Spec.  
  • Confidence in presenting ideas—you communicate clearly and effectively with clients and stakeholders.  

 

Preferred Skills & Experience  

  • Understanding of commercial workplace trends, ergonomics, and furniture systems.  
  • Familiarity with building codes, ADA regulations, and industry standards.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.  

 

What We’re Looking For  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (or related field) from a CIDA-accredited program.  
  • 5 years of contract furniture design experience.  
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong design thinking, execution, and collaboration.
