We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant or Medical Technician to join our team at our Baton Rouge, LA, site. In addition to a rewarding work environment, we offer our professionals competitive benefits and salary. This is a full time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with an on-call after hours rotation one week per month.

- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.
- Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone.
- Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.
- Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance.
- Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC.
- Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures.
- Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.
- Performs Respirator Fit testing.
- Performs Pulmonary Function Test
- Obtains basic history, and medical information, and take vital signs
- Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.
- Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing.
- Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements.
- Performs safe venipuncture.
- Performs urine dipstick testing.
- Performs 12 lead EKGs.
- Performs audiometric screening,
- Performs other duties as required
- Pass Background Check
- Pass Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
