What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide/Cook position at Core Nursing & Rehabilitation?
Shift: 5:00am-1:30pm & 12:30-8pm
$15 an Hour
Mon- Friday & every other weekend
20 Hours a week
```Duties```
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes provided
- Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs to the supervisor
- Assist with meal planning and menu development as needed
- Maintain accurate records of food production, temperature logs, and other required documentation
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation regulations
- Strong time management skills to ensure meals are prepared on schedule
- Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with others
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
