Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Monterrey Plant (Escobedo)
Reports To: Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Summary
Core Molding Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant maintenance operations and ensure the reliability and availability of production equipment, molds, and facility systems. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, executing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in supporting production performance, product quality, and on-time delivery through strong technical leadership, disciplined execution, and effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians to support safe and efficient plant operations
- Ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment, molds, and facility infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain maintenance KPIs, including uptime, response time, and preventive maintenance completion
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and process-related issues
- Manage and maintain inventory of critical spare parts
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance and equipment support
- Manage departmental budget and support cost control initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on equipment reliability and performance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and system documentation (CMMS)
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as FMEA, 5 Whys, and Control Plans
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred – ability to participate in meetings with corporate teams
- Strong ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
- Experience with problem-solving and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis)
