Core Molding Technologies is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain operations at our plant in General Escobedo, Nuevo León.
This role oversees production planning, material availability, inventory control, logistics, and customer service—especially for recreational vehicle assembly customers—while maintaining cost efficiency, operational continuity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning
Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with customer demand, capacity, and material availability. Prevent shortages or excess inventory by analyzing deviations and coordinating corrective actions.
Purchasing and Sourcing
Manage the procurement of raw materials and components. Build relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with OEM and RV assembler requirements.
Inventory Control
Define optimal inventory levels for raw, WIP, and finished goods. Execute cycle counts, FIFO, traceability, and manage slow-moving or obsolete materials. Maintain ERP system accuracy.
Logistics and Distribution
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring OTIF performance. Manage freight, transit times, and documentation compliance. Handle returns and consignment inventory when applicable.
Customer Service (OEM / Assembly Customers)
Act as the main plant contact for assembly customer needs, including orders, schedule changes, and urgent requirements. Ensure zero line stoppages and track service-level KPIs.
Compliance & Management Systems
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. Promote order, discipline, and improvement culture. Oversee responsible waste management and support audits.
KPIs & Continuous Improvement
Track KPIs such as OTIF, inventory accuracy, turnover, production plan adherence, and logistics costs. Lead continuous improvement projects and implement best practices like S&OP, MRP, and capacity planning.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related field.
Language: Advanced English proficiency (90% ), required for daily communication with international customers and suppliers.
Experience:
- At least 5 years in supply chain, materials management, or production planning.
- Experience supporting OEM or assembly customers—preferably in automotive or RV industries.
- Strong ERP and MRP systems knowledge.
