Procedures You’ll Learn and Perform
(Training provided; progressive independence within 3-4 months)
- Ultrasound-guided tendon, bursa, and joint injections
- Fluoroscopy-guided sacroiliac (SI), facet, and large-joint injections
- Trigger point and peripheral nerve blocks
- Arthrogram-assisted viscosupplementation (HA) and diagnostic injections
- PRP and regenerative biologic injections (advanced training track)
- BrainView/qEEG concussion testing and interpretation
- Functional and occupational capacity exams (FCE/OCE)
- DOT physicals and occupational medicine evaluations
Daily Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and occupational injuries.
- Review imaging (X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound) and direct individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with DCs, PTs, OTs, and behavioral health providers.
- Manage OWCP/FECA, workers’ comp, and personal injury cases (with case manager support).
- Prepare causation reports, impairment ratings, and medical necessity narratives in EHR.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care meetings and patient progress reviews.
Support & Structure
- Assistants: 1–2 MAs per provider for rooming, prep, and documentation.
- Systems: Integrated EHR, imaging access, case management tools.
- Mentorship: Direct hands-on training by pain management MD and senior NPs.
- KPIs: Patient outcomes, procedural compliance, and care plan completion.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (MO and/or KS).
- DOT Certified Medical Examiner or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain.
- Interest in interventional pain, rehabilitation, and functional medicine.
- Strong teamwork, empathy, and clinical reasoning skills.
Compensation & Benefits
