Job description
At Core LTC Pharmacy we provide pharmacy services for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Our ideal candidate has pharmacy technician experience, has great attention to detail, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
*Wage negotiable with experience. Raises are merit based with us being locally owned and not a large national pharmacy*
Pharmacy hours are as follows:
Mon-Thurs: 8am - 6:00pm / Friday: 8am - 7:00pm
Saturday: 8am - 3pm / Sunday 8am - 2pm
Shifts rotate between:
8am-4:30pm / 9am - 5:30pm / 10am - 6:30pm (Close)
With rotating weekends after the training period
Responsibilities
- Accurately fill, label, and package medications for nursing facility residents in unit-dose, multi-dose, or cycle-fill systems according to pharmacy standards and regulations.
- Maintain workflow efficiency by preparing medications, restocking inventory, and assisting pharmacists and other technicians to ensure timely delivery to LTC facilities
- Operate and maintain automated dispensing and packaging equipment, including troubleshooting minor issues and ensuring accurate medication output.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, rotating dated products, and assisting with ordering to prevent shortages or delays in patient medication cycles.
- Follow all LTC pharmacy regulations and facility protocols, including proper documentation, HIPAA compliance, and safe handling of medications and supplies.
