Pharmacy Technician -Data Entry

Job description

At Core LTC Pharmacy we provide pharmacy services for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Our ideal candidate has pharmacy technician experience, is an excellent communicator, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.

*Wage negotiable with experience. Raises are merit based with us being locally owned and not a large national pharmacy*

Pharmacy hours are as follows:

Mon-Thurs: 8am - 6:00pm / Friday: 8am - 7:00pm

Saturday: 8am - 3pm / Sunday 8am - 2pm

Shifts rotate between:

8am-4:30pm / 9am - 5:30pm / 10am - 6:30pm (Close)

With rotating weekends after the training period

Responsibilities

- Entering new medication orders and processing Refill prescriptions using our pharmacy software

- Communicating with nurses and other facility staff to discuss medication orders

- Submitting insurance claims for prescription medications

- Opening and closing procedures.

Education:

· High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

· Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

· Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
