Duties
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Perform medication administration tasks, including IV infusion and inhalation therapies.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile products.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy management.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program.
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred, particularly in acute or critical care environments.
