Core Home is proud to be the leader in fashion-focused home products since we started in 2009. We are looking for a Junior Product Development Manager, to join our Health & Beauty Division. Our ideal candidate is a detailed-oriented individual with excellent communication and project coordination skills. The Junior Product Development Manager, Health and Beauty, contributes to the development of our products. This includes following up with suppliers, coordinating specifications, sampling and facilitating costing of new items.
Job Description:
- Work with the broader Product Development team to brainstorm new ideas/concepts. Responsible for tracking these ideas/concepts and working with relevant teams to bring to life
- Creating and updating line sheets & costing sheets throughout development season
- Process all data entry into our production management system, including style set-up, and creating New Item Set -Up Forms to send to the production team
- Assist with checking and confirming design specifications
- Update weekly WIP reports for multiple projects simultaneously to maintain accurate information that is used by cross-functional partners
- Oversee sample process including checking in and tagging all received samples
- Facilitate daily communication with overseas manufacturers on daily product development and production follow up
- Assist in reformulating and update existing products
- Liaison to European consultant for distribution into UK/EU
- Assist Senior Product Managers on ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business or Merchandising preferred. Specific focus in Product Development is a plus
- 2-4 years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus
- Sense of urgency and ability to work within deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and great organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Team player and able to work in a fast pace environment
- Self-starter
