Registered Pharmacy Technician
Registered with the Board of Pharmacy, excellent customer service, fill prescriptions, inventory control, data entry, dependable, reliable. Bi-lingual speakers are welcome.
Job Duties and Expectations:
· Must be registered in the state of Florida.
· Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist by retrieving, counting, pouring, and mixing medications.
· Assists in Bubble Packing Prescriptions for Long-Term Care Patients.
· Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
· Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their verification.
· Enters data in the computer system, recording all the prescriptions and purchase orders.
· Prepares insurance claim forms.
· Performs general clerical duties, such as answering phones, operating different POS systems, etc.
· Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting
· Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Physical setting(s): Independent retail pharmacy, in-person
Ability to work with customers in:

· Nursing home
· Outpatient
Schedule:
· 6-hour shift, weekdays
Education:
· High-school diploma required
· Foreign interns are welcome to apply
Experience:
· Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
· Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
· English and Spanish (Preferred)
License/Certification:
· Pharmacy Technician Certification is required
· PTCB Certification (Preferred)
