Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, including electrical power systems, control systems, and automation systems
- Conduct site visits to assess electrical system requirements and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Develop and maintain electrical system designs, including schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Conduct electrical system testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design, development, and implementation of electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in electrical design software, such as CAD, SPICE, or similar tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
