About the Role
The Director of Patient Services oversees clinical operations, staff supervision, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance for the home care program within a long-standing nonprofit health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical operations and ensure safe, effective patient care.
- Oversee assessments, admissions, plans of care, and service coordination.
- Supervise nursing and paraprofessional staff; conduct field visits as needed.
- Ensure compliance with DOH, CMS, and organizational policies.
- Drive quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage incident reporting, infection control practices, and patient experience.
- Oversee staff orientation, annual competencies, and training programs.
- Support operational efficiency and staffing optimization.
- Participate in committees, reporting, and strategic improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Current NYS RN license.
- Bachelor’s in Nursing required.
- 3 years clinical supervisory experience; 1 year home care experience.
- Valid NYS driver’s license and vehicle access.
