Reporting directly to the Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and compliance by performing detailed inspections, interpreting industry standards, and supporting project needs both onshore and offshore. Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external inspections of equipment to verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Perform scheduled inspections to maintain the mechanical integrity of facility equipment.
- Interpret regulations, codes, and industry standards accurately.
- Compile, submit, and maintain detailed inspection reports using computer software such as MS Word and Excel.
- Identify and recommend repairs, ensuring visual inspections of completed work meet quality standards.
- Study and apply leak regulations relevant to the location and customer base.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, facilities, and team members.
- Support additional organizational tasks as required to meet project and safety objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical equipment inspection activities.
- Current API 510 and API 570 certifications.
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards including AWS, ASME, and API (510, 570).
- Ability to pass a Level 2 UT examination certification.
- Knowledge of NDE methodologies and API-653 certification is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required; higher education or specialized training preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including offshore locations.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of on-site inspections in challenging conditions.
