Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the safe operation and navigation of the vessel, adhering to international maritime standards and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including STCW requirements, and maintain up-to-date certifications.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with crew members, port authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Manage vessel maintenance and safety protocols, responding promptly to any emergencies or operational issues.
- Oversee voyage planning, cargo handling, and environmental protocols to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Valid MMC license with a 500T certification and STCW certification for international work.
- Medical DP certification.
- Passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Proven experience in a senior maritime leadership role, with a strong track record of safe vessel operation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
