Job Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer would be responsible for all the Projects of the CORE. We are looking for a person with a vision and interested to build a long term career with a fast growing company. The position is in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

• Develops, maintains, and verifies implementation of the project quality assurance program
• Coordinates the project quality assurance program.
• Plan activities associated with one or more functions in engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations and commissioning of a project.
• Maintains client liason and communication for project quality assurance activities.
• Advises management of project quality assurance problems and progress.
• Is responsible for the QA activities on a large project including the supervision and technical guidance of subordinate QA Supervisor(s) and participates in the project auditing and monitoring program to verity the effectiveness of the project quality program & Plan.
• Reviews project schedules for quality related activities to ensure timely and effective implementation of the project quality assurance program and plan.
• Identify quality problems, initiate documented action and verifies implementation of solutions.
• Forecasts quality assurance job hours and monitors charges to the project quality assurance budget.
• Initiates project quality assurance staffing requirements and budgets for approval.
• Provides work assignments to project quality assurance personnel and prepares reports on the effectiveness the quality assurance program and plan implementation.
• Coordinates the preparation of and establishes the quality assurance program.
• Reviews and approves quality related procedures prepared on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program and plan.
• Trains quality assurance personnel assigned to the project.
• Recommends actions to project personnel to correct observed quality deficiencies.
• Supervises and participates in the project auditing and monitoring program to verity the effectiveness of the project quality program and plan
• Knowledge of the application of corrective actions to nonconforming conditions.
• Knowledge of the application of corrective actions to nonconforming conditions.
• Knowledge of the quality assurance principles and their application to engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations, or decommissioning.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and functions, which impact the QA program and plan.
• Knowledge of company policies and practices regarding personnel actions.
  
  

Required Skills

• B.E in Mechanical/Production Minimum 2 - 3 Years Experience in as a QA Engineer or equivalent.
• Practical work experience in fields of engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations, decommissioning, or business administration
• Most important ISNT OR ASNT qualificationas level II or level III and knowledge of ASTM codes.
• Highly Proficient in MS Office products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook etc.
• Exposure to working in Quality systems like ISO 9001:2008
• Professional Presentation Skills.
