What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Core Construction and Development, Inc.?
We are looking for a dependable Construction Laborer to join our crew. This is a hands-on position assisting with concrete, asphalt, and general construction work.
Job duties include:
- Assist with concrete and asphalt work
- Shovel, rake, lute, broom, and perform general site cleanup
- Help prepare areas for concrete and asphalt placement
- Use hand and power tools including saws, jackhammers/pneumatic hammers, concrete saws, and other construction equipment
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Assist experienced crew members with daily jobsite tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to perform physical labor and lift 50 pounds
- Dependable and willing to work
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a crew
- Construction experience is preferred but not required
- CDL is a plus, but not required
