The Manager of Financial Analysis in the Physician Services space is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to assist in the decision-making process for a healthcare organization. This may include creating financial models, analyzing financial statements, and evaluating economic trends.
Essential Duties
- Create financial models for new projected business to assist with business development
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning for the organization
- Develop and maintain financial models to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Identify trends and making recommendations for cost savings and revenue growth
- Assist with the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and the board of directors
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to gather information and data needed for analysis
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau credentialing, scheduling, and other functions.
- Familiar with healthcare regulations and industry trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly present information
- Gather and analyze information to make informed assessments and recommendations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
- Significant attention to detail and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with professionals internal and external to the company and across geographic locations

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- CFA or CPA certification is a plus.
- 5 -8 years of experience in healthcare financial analysis, preferably in physician services
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and industry trends
