They are seeking a Director, Product Strategy (Upstream Marketing) to lead the development of new products grounded in deep market insight, clinical value, and customer demand.

What You’ll Do
Shape Product & Portfolio Strategy
- Lead upstream product strategy across new product development and key line extensions
- Define product value propositions, positioning, and differentiation strategies
- Partner with Commercial leadership to inform pricing and portfolio decisions
Bring the Voice of the Customer
- Lead market, competitive, and trend analysis within the aesthetics space
- Define target customer segments (e.g., dermatologists, plastic surgeons, med-spas)
- Identify unmet clinical and business needs to inform innovation
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner closely with R&D, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to shape product concepts, indications, and claims
- Ensure alignment between clinical development and commercial strategy
- Influence key decisions across the product lifecycle
Build the Innovation Pipeline
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities aligned with market needs
- Contribute to long-term portfolio strategy and innovation roadmap
Set the Foundation for Launch Success
- Define pre-launch strategy, including target customers, messaging, and differentiation
- Develop strategic frameworks and tools to support Sales, Marketing, and Training teams

- Experience in medical aesthetics, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
- Strong understanding of clinical, regulatory, and commercial dynamics
- Proven ability to translate insights into actionable product and portfolio strategies
- Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and driving alignment

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $195,000 to $230,000. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and business needs. Total compensation may include base salary, bonus, and equity.
