Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management and will assist in all aspects of event coordination, including logistics, communication, setup, and breakdown. The Event Assistant will work closely with the event coordinator and other team members to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and preparation of events, including coordinating logistics, timelines, and vendor communication.
- Support on-site event operations by greeting and assisting guests, vendors, and speakers.
- Assist with event materials, such as creating and printing programs, name tags, and signage.
- Ensure all event supplies are stocked and ready, including food, beverages, and presentation materials.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event and escalate as needed.
- Provide general administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining event schedules.
- Help track event expenses and assist with budget management.
- Follow up with attendees and vendors after the event for feedback and thank-you notes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
