Responsibilities
As the Mitigation Manager, you will oversee the full performance of the mitigation department, including field staff, scheduling, job quality, and KPI achievement. You’ll lead with professionalism, coach crews in real time, and ensure each job reflects our mission of restoring peace of mind.
- Lead and manage daily mitigation operations, ensuring high standards and strong productivity.
- Schedule jobs, crews, and equipment efficiently.
- Oversee job scoping, costing, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Drive key performance metrics: response time, job cycle time, labor efficiency, and gross margin.
- Coach, mentor, and hold technicians accountable in alignment with company values.
- Enforce safety protocols, IICRC standards, and internal SOPs.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new mitigation team members.
- Partner closely with Estimating and Project Management teams for smooth job transitions.
- Conduct job site inspections to ensure quality and team development.
- Manage equipment inventory, fleet needs, and maintenance.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency jobs when needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of restoration mitigation experience
- 2 years of management experience OR proven experience leading a team
- IICRC WRT required; ASD, AMRT, or additional certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of drying science, job documentation standards, and mitigation best practices
- Proven ability to motivate teams, enforce accountability, and elevate performance
- Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making skills
- Must excel in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
