Overview
Core Burn Sutton Place is seeking a certified and experienced Pilates Instructor to join our warm and welcoming team. We specialize in small group Reformer classes and private sessions in a supportive, community-driven environment. In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates classes, helping clients achieve their fitness goals through tailored instruction and expert guidance. Your knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology will be key as you create a welcoming environment that promotes health and well-being.
What you’ll do
- Lead invigorating Pilates classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring each participant feels included and motivated.
- Design personalized training programs that incorporate elements of anatomy knowledge and body mechanics to enhance client performance.
- Utilize your expertise in group fitness to foster a supportive community atmosphere among participants.
- Stay current with the latest trends in fitness, including kickboxing, yoga, and cycling, to enrich class offerings.
- Provide constructive feedback and adjustments to clients during sessions to ensure proper form and technique.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to create innovative class formats that integrate diverse fitness modalities like CrossFit and dancing.
- Promote health club services and programs through effective fitness sales strategies to attract new members.
- Maintain a clean and organized gym environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in fitness.
Basic qualifications
- Certified Pilates Instructor with a recognized certification from an accredited organization.
- Strong understanding of physiology, body mechanics, and anatomy as they relate to movement and exercise.
- Experience in personal training or sports coaching is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with additional fitness disciplines such as kickboxing, yoga, cycling, or group fitness instruction.
- Previous experience in a health club or gym setting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pilates classes for individuals or small groups, ensuring a safe and effective workout.
- Provide guidance and support to clients, helping them improve their technique and reach their fitness goals
- Create personalized Pilates programs based on clients' needs and fitness level
- Demonstrate proper form and alignment during exercises
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their programs as needed
- Lead safe, engaging Reformer classes and private sessions
- Customize workouts to meet diverse client needs and fitness levels
- Demonstrate and teach proper form and technique
- Help maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming studio space
- Excellent communication skills (in person, by phone, and via email)
- Highly organized and customer service-oriented
