Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental differences.
Working closely under the supervision of a BCBA, you’ll implement individualized treatment plans designed to foster communication, independence, and positive social interactions. You’ll also help families feel supported and empowered—because at Core Bloom, we’re here for the journey.
What You’ll Do
- Implement individualized ABA programs as designed and supervised by a BCBA.
- Support children in developing communication, social, and adaptive living skills.
- Assist with transitions, routines, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Collect accurate, detailed data on client progress and share insights with your supervising BCBA.
- Use proactive behavior management strategies and reinforcement techniques to promote learning.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and team members to create a positive and consistent learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision to ensure quality care and professional growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach.
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and collect behavioral data accurately.
- Reliable transportation to client homes, schools, and community settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Coursework or background in psychology, education, child development, or related fields.
- Experience in ABA, early intervention, or special education settings.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
