The Position:
This offering is for a full-time position and includes 401K after one year (with company matching), healthcare benefits (where company pays 75% of premium), and a generous paid time off package plus other perks.
The Executive Consultant will apply their professional cleaning and management skills and experience to support our highest-level consulting projects, presentations, and site visits. Working a mix home office, company headquarters, plus on-site with customers across the U.S., the Executive Consultant will work with internal and external teams to support solving the most critical janitorial and custodial challenges for our customers. This will include site visit activities, strategic planning, financial analysis and recommendations, negotiations, account management and support, program design, and all other executive-level consulting operations that help our customers measure and transform their programs or contracts. The ultimate responsibility of the Executive Consultant is to use their deep expertise and passion to help our customers achieve cleaner, healthier, and safer facilities.
Requirements:
· 15 years in the cleaning industry, at least 10 of which as manager with direct reports
· Experience managing large cleaning programs (programs at least 1,000,000 square feet and/or consisting of 100 or more cleaning team members)
· Willingness to travel. This position requires approximately 50% travel, which will include a few days per week away from home up to the full week away. Our customers are all over the world and require the Consultant to make site visits for project kick-offs, project close-outs, strategy sessions, negotiations, and more
· Preferred: Experience with professional speaking and presentations / program design and transformation / contract negotiations / cleaning specifications / SOW’s, and designing cleaning assignments / routes for cleaning staff members / customer relationship management / union negotiations
Duties include:
· Considerable time in home office in Endicott, NY
· Travel regularly to customer locations
· Serve as ultimate cleaning industry SME (subject matter expert) for our customers and internally, solving the highest-level challenges based on deep experience and data
· Deliver in-person and virtual presentations to the highest levels of leadership
· Use insights from stakeholders, program documentation, site visits, and customer discussions to develop overall strategy, reports, and customer communications
· Identify additional customer needs and offer new solutions / proposals to support long-term customer relationships
· Assist with the development and professional writing of reports (primarily in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
· Communicate effectively with others to exchange information, streamline processes, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely manner
· Lead customer calls and communications
· Assist internal teams with other duties and special projects
· Provide flexible, patient, and creative solutions to issues as they arise
Skills / Qualifications:
· Competence, timeliness, quality, organization, friendliness, flexibility, and excellence are characteristics the individual must represent
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider at least 15 years of relevant cleaning industry / management experience
· Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (customer-facing)
- Experience using cleaning industry software (primarily for workloading and quality inspections)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills required
- Sense of urgency to meet internal and external customer requirements
· Must be a positive, hardworking person able to work successfully with a diverse group of users, customers, team members, and internal departments
