Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform welding tasks when necessary to secure pipe joints and fittings, ensuring durability and safety.
- Conduct remodeling projects by assembling plumbing fixtures and integrating new systems into existing structures.
- Operate heavy machinery and perform heavy lifting to move materials safely around construction sites.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC, and other trades for seamless project execution.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving construction vehicles is a plus.
