What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner/PRN position at Cordova Pain Specialists?
Responsibilities:
- Provide pain management services to adult patients only
- Diagnose and treat chronic injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [TN]
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in pain management would be a plus, steroid injections a plus - DEA license for state of TN
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
