Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located at a Nursing Home in Elmira, NY and facilities nearby. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to nursing home residents, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering mental health support. The practitioner will collaborate with a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Qualifications
- Mental Health Nursing, Nursing, and Mental Health Care skills
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner and providing Psychiatric Care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in telehealth is a plus
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field
