This position offers a clear path to leadership, with the opportunity to transition into a Head of Accounting role as the organization continues to grow.What You’ll Do• Handle journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and bank deposits• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate job cost coding• Process payroll and allocate job costs, including union payroll and monthly reconciliations• Perform positive pay checks and monitor daily bank transactions• Support certified payroll reporting and compliance• Partner directly with leadership on financial accuracy and process improvementsWhat You Bring• 6 years of accounting experience (degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)• Strong understanding of general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with leadership and staff• Integrity, confidence, and the ability to stand firm when needed• Experience with accounting software (Deltek Computer-EZ a plus)Perks & Benefits• Salary up to $90K plus discretionary bonus• Health insurance (70% employer-paid)• 401(k) with 4% match (eligible after 1 year, 3-year vesting)• Paid time off and holidays• Career growth path to Head of AccountingReady to take ownership of a critical finance role?
