Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform payroll reconciliations to verify accuracy and proper allocation of expenses.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and membership review.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation and disposals.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with payroll reconciliation and accounts receivable management.
