Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Smile Solutions of Goodlettsville, an affiliate of Cordental, has an exciting opportunity to join our team!

We are looking for a certified Extended Functions Dental Assistant to assist the dentists in all procedures. We not only deliver the best clinical care for our patients, but we also provide a high energy, team-oriented workplace. Duties:

• Provide assistance to the Dentists during procedures including preparation and documentation
• Assist with clinical procedures such as composite fillings, crown and bridge, fabricate temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures and more
• Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
• Take digital X-Rays
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety requirements
• Perform proper operation and maintenance of dental equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships
• EFDA Certification
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft is a plus
