We share our passion. Together, we make a difference in patients' lives.SUMMARYThe Finance Controller is a member of the Finance Leadership Team for the Colorado manufacturing site. This role is responsible for financial integrity, statutory compliance, liquidity transparency, and robust internal controls within a complex CDMO operating environment. The Finance Controller serves as a key business partner to Site Leadership, Corporate Treasury & Tax, and external auditors, ensuring accurate financial reporting, disciplined cash management, and strong governance across all accounting operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Financial AccountingDiligently collect, prepare, and record financial transactions to produce accurate and reliable financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) in accordance with IFRS, including the reconciliation of all intercompany transactions with the site’s trading partnersPerform monthly balance sheet reviews with a special focus on Net Working Capital movements, highlighting any potential risks to managementLiquidity ForecastingCollaborate with Planning, Product Management, Quality, Procurement and Corporate Treasury to accurately forecast and provide timely updates to the company’s cash position, highlighting any potential liquidity risks to ManagementAccounting Operations Oversight Manage Accounting Department - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll (including labor hour reconciliations: hours paid vs. hours worked for all departments), and General Ledger activitiesTreasury & Risk ManagementApprove weekly payment runs, wires, and check signings, and oversee overall cash position, including support for all banking activities such as lines and letters of credit Provide oversight of tax compliance, insurance coverage, and lease accounting to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and appropriate risk management in accordance with applicable standards and company policiesInternal Controls and Risk Management Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud and minimize financial risksAudits and Compliance Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring that all accounting practices comply with IFRS, tax laws, and other regulatory requirementsManagement Manage and mentor a team of Finance professionals, ensuring their professional development and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture within CordenDevelop a strong working relationship with other Corden sites, Finance teams, and Corporate Leadership to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies across the companyLEADERSHIP & BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIESManage and mentor a team of Finance professionals, ensuring their professional development and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture within CordenDirect Reports: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, and PayrollProvide training and guidance on financial reporting, SAP Systems, and best practices in cost management and financial analysisDevelop a strong working relationship with other Corden sites, finance teams, and corporate leadership to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies across the companySAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIESEvery individual is personally responsible for the safety and environmental aspects of their activities in the workplace. CMA, CFA, or MBA preferred. CPA requiredTen years of experience in accounting role, with a strong background in month-end close & financial reporting, treasury, internal controls and accounting operations in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience using SAP ERP, particularly in financial modules (FI, CO, MM), with a proven track record of leveraging SAP for financial reporting and analysisExperience in managing a Finance team and working with cross-functional teams in a global manufacturing settingLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal contractual documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
