SUMMARY

Serves as the primary interface for daily usage of materials, machine hours, and shop floor resources in Manufacturing. Coordinates with the lead production scheduler to ensure all reconciliation of data is executed on time and accurately. Coordinates with Planning and Production readiness team to ensure material ordering, kitting, and preparedness is completed on time and in full to support Manufacturing. Supports month end close activities and escalates issues in area of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supports finite planning schedules for Large-Scale and Small-Scale Pharmaceutical intermediates and final products operations. Accurately reconciles batch and cleaning and changeover times
  • Completes SAP material consumptions used for large-scale, small-scale, pilot plant, and cleanup/changeover process orders. Support the review of process orders for raw material and solvent consumption accuracy. Investigates discrepancies through Batch Record Reviews and performing an inventory of final products, intermediates, or raw materials in Manufacturing plants
  • Supports investigation to determine root cause and schedule delays between departments. Supports root cause evaluation for any SAP Process Order inventory errors in raw materials, solvents, intermediates, and finished products and makes necessary adjustments in SAP to maintain accurate inventory usage and genealogy
  • Alerts Production Planning, Warehouse, and Operations regarding potential process order, material or solvent discrepancies, and initiates appropriate remedial actions. Supports prioritization of sampling and testing of materials with Planning Group
  • Coordinates with Production Planning to assure correctness of the pick lists or related BOM driven materials. Supports timely and accurate submission of material delivery request. Supports tracking KPIs for materials delivery and partnering with Warehouse to determine variances and correct actions
  • Supports month end close process, through timely and accurate reporting of RM, intermediate and solvent in SAP. Supports Cost Accounting for monthly inventory variance reporting and process order close out
  • Supports identification and communicates to Planning any shortage of documentation that prevents confirmation of material usages and yields
  • Fills in for Lead Production Schedule as needed
  • Supports month end to ensure all applicable process orders are closed for the month, and all material movements are complete and accurate

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with SAP, PP, and MM modules, and/or related ERP Systems preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
