Summary
Responsible for short-term scheduling, coordination, and communication of all Production and Maintenance activities at a day-to-day level. Works with SIOP, Maintenance, and Operations teams and coordinate resources and timing for all day-to-day activities in Manufacturing. Develops and modifies a resource loaded Production schedule. Ensures the Integrated Production Plan is up to date, and that SAP properly reflects the production activities of all areas. Evaluates conflicts to give options with key impacts and benefits/risks. Manages a team of inventory specialists to gather and analyze data on actual material consumption and equipment/labor usage.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing and maintaining short term (<6 weeks) production schedules at the day-to-day level, based on long-term forecasting from SIOP, Finance, and the Program Management Office (PMO). Takes high level production campaign schedules and translates into shift and daily planning for all production related activitiesWorks with Production Management, Quality Control, technical teams, CAPEX Teams, and Maintenance to build and communicate a detailed, finite schedule including breakdown by operations shift and resources Leads detailed Production/Maintenance resource planning, including resolution of utilization conflicts, downstream impact analysis, and data collection for standard costs. Ensures alignment between short-term and finite Incorporates preventative maintenance schedules and required maintenance activities (including qualifications and CAPEX as applicable) and incorporates it into an overall production schedule Ensures alignment between a daily finite schedule and a long-term campaign and production schedule; as well as communicates any delays or changes to SIOP and Finance to understand financial and business impacts Coordinates with CAPEX Groups, Safety, and Production management to determine requirements for new equipment installation and start up, and incorporates this into finite planning Leads optimization and continuous improvement of systems used for manufacturing and maintenance scheduling. This includes analysis of manufacturing and maintenance workflows to identify areas for improvement Translates any daily production need to Quality Control (sample planning) and Supply Chain/Warehouse (raw material needs) Responsible for implementing systems to have clear resource requirements for production and maintenance activities and works to continuously update data and ensure information is readily available for assessments as needed Gathers data and provides requirements in regard to headcount and resource planning for maintenance and production. Communicates any resource constraints or impacts on a rolling 12-month basis back to HR and SIOP Team Works with plant management and maintenance management to level load shift assignment and ensure correct skill distribution across the shifts and plants Manages team of inventory reconciliation specialists to track raw material usage real time in the plants Leads a team to understanding and track raw material usage; and investigates and resolves any variances by working with Operations management and technical teams. Feeds data on variances and updates to standard cost to warehouse, supply chain, and/or SIOP Implements and maintains adherence to all company policies concerning Safety, Health, & Environmental (SHE); Quality; and Human Resources
LEADERSHIP & BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages staff and directs activities of scheduling and cycle time, resource, and raw material usage. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Supervisory responsibilities include daily leadership of team; training and development; interviewing and hiring; managing time and attendance records; performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving daily problems and conflicts.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (BS) with 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including experience in a Manufacturing environment. Candidate should have a background working with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
